Day 1: Drive to Dinsho,

In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Dinsho, via Assela-Bekoji (360 Km from Addis). You will have lunch at Assela (250 Km from Addis). You will proceed driving and arrive in Dinsho in the afternoon.

Upon arrival, you will do all the requirements for short easy trekking at the Bale Mountains National Park HQ. After a brief break, you will have time to make a short hike around the head office So called Dinsho Walking Trakil .


Dinsho Walking Trail: the trail leads through the juniper forest around the park headquarter and it protects the main concentration of mountain nyala. Other animals include Menelik’s bushbuck, bohor reedbuck, warthog, gureza monkeys. An unusual plant of the Dinsho area is the white –flowered Abyssinian rose, the only flowering rose that is indigenous to Africa.

Then later drive to Goba (40Km from Dinsho) for overnight stay.  In the evening, you will have dinner and stay the night at the hotel. Overnight stay in Wabe Shebelle Hotel, Goba.


Day 2: Excursion/Day trip to Sanetti Plateau – spend the day looking for Wolf

In the morning, you will have breakfast and drive to the Sanetti Plateau (altitude of 4000 meter, with Afro-alpine Moor land, beautiful wild alpine scenery). In the evening, you will have dinner and stay the night at the hotel. Overnight stay in Wabe Shebelle Hotel, Goba.


Sanetti Platuea: sited as the world’s largest expanse of Afro-alpine moorland, a montane habitat confined to altitudes of 3,500m to 4,500m on east Africa’s tallest mountains. It supports very high degree of endemism especially substantial population of Ethiopian wolf other mammals include golden jackal and klipspringer, Abyssinian hare, giant mole rat and other endemic small burrowing rodents.

Day 3: Drive to Woalyta Sodo & excursion to Senkelle Wildlife Sanctuary

In the morning after breakfast, you will you will drive to Shashemene (apprx 240 Km from Goba). On the way visitSenkelle Wildlife Sanctuary (well-known for endemic and endangered subspecies of Swayne’s Hartebeest).

You will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel. Overnight stay in Abebe Zeleke hotel.


Day 4: Excursion to Maze National Park

In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Maze National Park (70 Km from Wolayta Sod). Maze is noted for its population of the endangered Swayne's hartebeest (Alcelaphus buselaphus swaynei), and is said to be second only to Senkelle Swayne's Hartebeest Sanctuary in importance for that subspecies. In the evening you will have dinner at the hotel and stay the night there.  Overnight stay in Abebe Zeleke hotel.


Day 5: Drive back to Addis Ababa

Right after breakfast, an early morning drive to Addis Ababa (325 Km from Wolatya Sodo). While en route visit Tiya (80 Km before Addis Ababa) Tiya is a UNESCO heritage, where of a peculiar type of engraved, grave marking standing stelae, believed to have been erected between the 12th and 14th centuries stand.


You will arrive in Addis Ababa early or late in the afternoon, depending on the time, have a last minute shopping.

Finally you will be taken to a farewell dinner. Then depending on your scheduled flight; you will be transferred out to Bole International Airport for return flight back home.
